Dear Diary,
There was a time when I sat in a stormy little town on a fishing vessel and looked out the window. I was sitting on the port side. “On the port side” is a nautical term used to refer the left side of a vessel. My Dutch Harbor fisherman crewmates taught me that one season.
There I was, just sitting on the port side. I captured this image. At the time, I was not sure of what was to come, but when I found this photo again.. four years later, all I want to do is admire that time and place again.
