Dear Diary,

Mussels For Two

This evening I made my love a special candle lit dinner. We have been taking photos of fish all day for Aleutian Island Fish Company, so purchased a package of these New Zealand Mussels for the fun of it! What was also very exciting is that, although we don’t have plans for New Zealand in the near future, this destination is certainly on the top of our travel lists.

So until then, here we have it – a taste from the waters of New Zealand! These frozen mussels run $8.99/lb. I cooked them two ways. Look at my videos below to see how it all turned out.

I can hardly wait to cook more seafood for my sweetheart. He is a commercial fisherman by trade, so I must keep up with these seafood dishes for his taste buds. It’s always fun to be adventurous in the kitchen for someone you love.
