Today is my birthday and it’s the day I became engaged with this Brilliant Earth gem.

We were on Mt. Ballyhoo overlooking the place where we first met..At the Airport Restaurant & Lounge. The place we first ever bashfully snuck our glances of each other as kids on the first day he ever landed on the island over a decade ago. I didn’t know he had a crush on me since we were both 14. So this relationship has come as one of the greatest surprises to me in my life. For us to have finally found each other in our adulthood and be ready for a commitment like this–neither of us would have ever seen this coming.

In all the years God has blessed me with, to be gifted a love made perfectly for me and that is all mine is something I have deeply sought after in life. I wondered when the day would come. I wondered how long the wait. I wondered when I would find the one whom my soul loves, as described in Songs of Solomon 3:4. And at last, I am soon to become one with my future husband, Jergen Nyhammer. Thank you my love for the best birthday gift. I supposed I have now found my purpose in life, and the reason why I was brought into this world was to love you ♡
